In home ghost hunts and
"... a ghost hunt is generally the first phase of an
investigation of a site, regardless of whether it's known or alleged
as being haunted. If we feel it's haunted, we'll schedule an
investigation at this point. This assessment is based on
photographic evidence, voice recorder evidence, video evidence,
personal experiences, and occasionally the feelings of our talented
sensitive members. Even before the hunt, many times we'll do a walk
through of an unproven haunted location to assess it's dangers,
accessibility, potential, we'll map it, note anything peculiar or
outstanding, and maybe we'll even catch some compelling evidence. If
all these things are accomplished we'll conduct an
investigation. All of the above and below is only if we have the
property owner or representative's permission."
A walk through is usually the first phase, a ghost hunt or
paranormal investigation is the 2nd stage. Sometimes they all
happen together. If there is evidence that something is
happening, we'll switch mode provided we have the equipment and
personnel to do so.
No! Our services are free because we enjoy doing it and we like helping people.
If you investigate my residence, will my information be kept private??
Your information will be kept confidential at all times unless you
specifically request it not be. Your home is your castle, your refuge from the
world, and we are your guests. You are offering the courtesy of a location to
investigate, and we return that courtesy by maintaining your privacy. If we do
display anything, it will be done in such a way as to not compromise your
identity or privacy in any way.
If you do want your information made public you will have to request that in
writing.
As much as we would like to say "we'll be there in 30 minutes" or something to that effect, that simply wouldn't be true, so sorry, no can do. Our response time varies. We will touch base with you regarding your situation immediately if your request comes between the hours of 10 AM and midnight, Pacific time, and the following morning if it arrives after midnight. From there it depends on team member availability, and whatever else we have happening at any give time. We all have jobs that support ourselves and our families, as well as our paranormal activities, but we will do our best to be on site within 24 hours.
Do you handle demonic possessions or other demonic cases?
No, absolutely not. Don't go to a general practitioner for heart surgery. If you suspect that you have a demonic case, there are people who are specifically trained in that field. We are not, and we will not endanger you (or ourselves) pretending that we're equipped for demonic cases. We can recommend several good, recognized demonologists depending on where you're located. The Catholic church is another great resource beyond those of us in the paranormal field, but there are also some really demonologists in this field. We'll be happy to consult with you, and perhaps come to your aid in a "strength in numbers" capacity, help you find a demon specialist, but that's where our involvement ends.
Are there any kind of cases you can not handle?
As mentioned in the above, demonic cases are something we will not handle, but we're wide open on everything else. However, if for any reason we can not handle your case, be it due to time considerations, or be it due to something we mysteriously can not handle, we will find someone who can handle your case. We're friends with, and allied with only the best groups and people in Southern California, so coverage is never an issue.
Do I or my family have to be present for an investigation.
It is a very good idea to have somebody who represents your property present at all times during the investigative process. This is for your safety as well as our own, and it also serves the validity of evidence collected. All we ask is that the setting and people present be as silent as possible at all times. If for any reason you or a representative can not be present, we'd require a signed waiver in advance indicating such, or a reschedule.
How long do investigations last?
An investigation can last from between 30 minutes on up depending on the situation. We'll advise you of the details at the initial consultation. If all depends on what you have occurring at the location and how difficult it is to determine what's is and what is not causing it, and determining what can be done about the activity.
